Equilibrium constant Lab report

due Friday Oct. 24, 2025

first page: LAB DATA SHEET

Use your laboratory data sheet as your cover page (the one signed by the teacher). It should have these information:

- Title and number of the experiment
- Name of the student
- Date the experiment was performed
- Lab section

Completely fill this table and note any useful observation.

Second page: DATA and RESULTS

Download and print the page " Equilibrium constant: DATA and RESULTS"
Complete the table with your three solutions of part B and determine the K values for each of them.
Calculate the average K

Third page: SAMPLE CALCULATIONS

Download, print and complete the " Sample calculation template "
In this lab, there are 4 sample calculations to provide;
only one sample for each calculation. Use test tube 2 of part 2 for sample calculation:
1- Calculate [Fe3+]o and [SCN-]o     (easily calculated from C1V1 = C2V2)
2- Calculate [Fe3+]eq. and [SCN-]eq.     ([Fe3+]eq. = [Fe3+]o - [Fe(SCN)2+]eq     and     [SCN-]eq. = [SCN-]o - [Fe(SCN)2+]eq
3- Calculate K     (K = [Fe(SCN)2+]eq / ([Fe3+]eq. X [SCN-]eq)
4- Calculate Kaverage

Fourth page: GRAPH

Finally, staple these four pages together, your lab report is completed.
